Are you trying to avoid eating foods containing gluten? We are happy to say that many of our customers who are avoiding wheat, rye , oats or barley have for years been enjoying many of the foods made at Reesor’s Market & Bakery. This includes some of our most popular entrees such as Chick Pea Curry, Lemon Broccoli Chicken, our GF Beef Pot Pie, and Butter Chicken. Some of the soups include Harvest Gold, Lentil Sausage, and North African Lentil. Baked treats include Amaretti, Lemon Poppy Seed Muffins, and GF Chocolate Cake.
These foods are prepared at Reesor’s Market & Bakery without wheat, rye, oats or barley and we make every effort to prepare them with gluten-free equipment and utensils. However, our kitchen is not a gluten-free facility and the foods may contain traces of gluten. Therefore, they may not be suitable for those with celiac disease or who are highly gluten intolerant.
For bread-lovers we offer Jennifer’s Gluten Free Multigrain Bread. We carry this bread because we think it tastes the most like traditional, wheat bread–it’s light and tasty–just like regular bread. Jennifer brings her bread to us freshly baked, pre-sliced and packaged and we pop it into our freezer where you can find it to take home. The grains and flour in the multigrain include brown rice flour, flax, tapioca flour and millet.
We also carry some very delicious boxed GF cupcake, brownie, and bread mixes, and dried pastas. Just ask any of our store staff and they will be happy to guide you to our gluten free foods.
